Look pretty much like that :D
For those of us who bothers with (small but important) details. The Celica ST185 is not named GT4. It`s correct name is Celica Turbo 4WD. The two others, ST165 and ST205 are GT4`s. I see even Daniel is wrong on this....Quote:

3. Lada Samara 1300 (ugliest and slowest car I ever sat in, but great fun!!)
4. Ford Escort Cosworth (really loud)
My choice is among cars I`ve sat in and codriven during 30 years of rallying. I wouldn`t mind a couple of the Group B-cars or a Lancia Stratos if I had picked among those.
Duly noted  :) Thanks for sharing your knowledge, it always annoys me when people get small but important details like this wrong.Quote:

The rear of that car is as delivered from the factory here in Australia. Perhaps it is different in Europe, but they've always been called GT Fours in Australia. I've owned two myself (an ST185 and an ST205).
My list would be.
1. 99 Subaru WRC
2. Alpine A110
3. Escort Mk1
4. Delta Integrale
Well now I'm just confused ;)Quote:

Hmm. Looks like I either want very round cars or very square ones...
Might just be the hologation name? Just like some people would call the Legacy a Legacy Group A and some would say Legacy RSQuote:

That's an interesting choise, since it's a failed Ford project. I do like the looks of it though.Quote:

It really is a question of minor details, I admit that, but interesting nonetheless. I have rallied all three Celicas + the Corolla WRC during my career, and they have one thing in common. They are all built like tanks, IMO a great asset when it comes to rally cars.
Certainly is interesting :)Quote:

4. Lancia Delta S4
seems like the GT-Four RC`s export version is called Carlos Sainz Limited Edition.Quote:

Ford RS200 evo
Ford Escort RS Cosworth (not WRC, that front bumper is ugly!)
Ford Escort RS1800
Fiat 124 Spider
If I could afford those 4 then I could also afford these!
Trabant P 800 RS
Lancia Stratos,
Porsche 911
Lancia Integrale
Ford Escort RS1600
Lotus Cortinas, mk1 and 2
Audi Quattro
Toyota Corolla WRC
Toyota GT-Four
Ford Falcon GTHO phase 4 (as rallied by Hoddo)
and so on.......
Saw an ex TTE one of these the other day down at Hume having the original factory colours applied. It was a recce car and had been driven by all and sundry over the years.Quote:
