So a round in Queensland and Tasmania have been lost and a couple of rounds have shifted date. Still no rounds in New South Wales, South Australia or Western Australia.
There has been an interesting response to the calendar. Rightfully, there is a lot of disappointment that NSW, WA and SA don't have a round and without them, it's hardly a national championship. Bizarrely, others are complaining that there is too much travel with the rounds in Tasmania and Darwin. Imagine the extra travel if there were three more rounds in the missed out states. Tough gig to be the promoter of the championship in a large country with a small population.
In positive news, despite to loss of Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki (though Dave Cullen is trying to get sponsorship together to keep TKA goin in 2010) from the series in factory/distributor guise, ASBK welcomes the addition of teams from KTM, Aprilia and the return of Ducati. Should make things interesting.
