Confirmed: http://www.autosport.cz/clanek.php?cl=7827
Fantastic news
i hope Skoda Motorsport has the cars and parts to supply all the teams that wants cars to start their seasons..!!.. IRC,PWRC, Italy.... ??? etc...
I think it has... :)
Do they need some at RGR as well maybe? ;)Quote:

Other news/rumours: Mauro Trentin(2008 gravel rallies champion)will drive the 2nd Racing Lions 207 S2000 as semi-factory driver at CIR(official news), Andrea Navarra will drive a Prodrive Subaru Impreza N14 in CIR(official news), Marco Signor will drive a Grande Punto S2000 at CIR(rumour for now)...
I hope more infos during the week-end ;)
Signor is also confirmed, he will use ex-Fuster car prepared by HRT Motorsport.
Strange, from Expo Rally there were news(rumour??)Aimont would have bought a Subaru Imrpreza WRC(2008 S14)to run the tarmac championship(TRA) !!!
So Aimont in CIR with Skoda and TRA with Subaru ???
Aimont ran Galli Xsara in 2007 while running at the same time Subaru N in Italy.
There shouldnt be a problem
Looks like Fabio Gianfico will run tarmac events of CIR09 in a 207 S2000 and gravel events in Lancer Evo X... ;)
Ouch !!! Rossetti crashed his Grande Punto right in SS1 Monte-Carlo :s
My fear I expressed was that "Rox" would enter CIR09 with experience of an entire(and difficult)rally compared to Ucci in the 207(or Longhi in the Fabia)...but looks like it won't happen ;)
Aimont ended their cooperation with Subaru Italy (after almost six or seven years...), they will now concentrate on a Fabia S2000. But they still own two WRC-cars (S10 and S11, some rumours are also that they are buying S14) and they will contiune to rent those cars, which are still very competetive in Italian Tarmac Championship.Quote:

Looks like Paolo Andreucci will run next week at the Liburna Ronde Terra(gravel)with the Racing Lions 207... :)
I'm pleased Racing Lions, despite coming of Paolo Andreucci, didn't change livery of the car for this year :) :)

But they changed tyre suplier...
Pirelli is Uccis sponsor
Me too, it is simple but classy.Quote:

Maybe not only for Sanremo ;)
The livery looks totally gutless for me, I preferd the one from P306 Maxi. It's only a little bit different but looks a lot better :)

But the real question is: who the hell can stop Ucci now??? :)

Well, what is your opinion about Pirelli's on Ucci S2000 ? I mean, will he have any disatvange compare to BF Goodrich on Rossetti's Abarth and Longhi's Fabia?? If we look last season, Perico was not brilliant with Pirelli tyres on Peugeot 207....
I'm not afraid for Pirelli on wet tarmac or gravel, but on dry tarmac, there mayed be some advantage for drivers with BFG ????

Excellent news for CIR again, young Davide Medici will run the championship in 207 S2000 from Twister Corse...I remember Medici for his first outin in S2000 during 2008 season, almost in same pace as Luca Rossetti(2nd overall for the whole first leg on a rally) !!! :)
Abarth still can't keep the pace of Peugeot, so I'm afraid Rossetti will be slower, the big unknown is Longhi in Fabia (can't remember, is it confirmed?).
Strangely, no news about Longhi and Skoda deal :mark:
Rossetti will compete in Liburna Ronde Terra with a Punto from Procar
Do somebody know how much are payed Italian shots (Andreucci, Basso, Longhi, etc)? I guess they are all proffesionals..

In the moment the delivery date for new orders is november as far as I know...

Hmmm, if all these rumours of customers are correct I think Skoda should start making S2000 on the main production line in Mlada Boleslav :)Quote:

Would be great if Renato Travaglia was the driver ;)
