Yeah, the weather wasn't really represntive for Turkey I guess, and the second day of testing was even cancelled because there was to much snow, so not really the best possible preparation for Rally Istanbul. You can also find a little video of the test on:Quote:

Great to see Panizzi back!
But why with an Punto S2000 (not that I have anything against it , I would rather see him in an Punto than an 207)?
Because he has better offer from Fiat? :)
Anyone know what time today the entry list is due to be published?
In some 12 minutes according to Pluto ;)
So no real surprices, allthouhg I didn't expect Rosetti to be there. Also Manifrato is a little bit of a surprice to me (will he be doing the whole championship?). We can expect a nice fight for victory, let's hope some more manufacturers will come into the IRC championship, so that it will not always be a fight between Punto en 207. :p
Where are the Honda's?
I have called Manfrinato, he drives in all ERC 2008
Great, Cricket! :)
And Luca Betti will be there. Does anyone know which are his plans for this season?
from this link you can follow the weather forecast for Istanbul :)

Geographical characteristics of Istanbul Rally is very similar to Finland Stages: fast and lots of bumps.
I think the most interesting stage is SS10 Ballica B-1. Some part of this stage was used in a National Rally named Pirelli in 2005.
The bump at the approximately 6 km away from the starting point of this stage is very dangerous. At that point 3 cars ran out of road after the bump.
, now there is a natural barrier to reduce the speed. Here are the pictures of that bump:

So maybe advantage to Anton Alen, like in Rally Russia ??? ;)
Alen was quick in Turkey last year too. I really enjoyed this rally last year, nice roads and scenery so looking forward to more of the same this year - except with more cars this time round :)Quote:

Even trying to slow them down...that still looks an impressive jump!
