Maybe all of the competitors decided to stay in the rally base? Wouldn't you do the same? :)Quote:

Victory for Matteo Musti in his 206 WRC, helped by Marco Silva's 10s penalty(jump start)who takes 2nd place and Garosci in his Subaru Impreza WRC takes 3rd :D :bounce:
Retirements also for Gregis(punctures), Galli(punctures)and Botta(off road)... :mark:
Championship standing:
1-Marco Silva 44 points :bounce:
2-Devid Oldrati 36 points
3-Botta 34 points
4-Musti 20 points
I hope Marco Silva and his yellow whale will win the championship !!! GOOO
I have made a trip yesterday to Salice Terme, three hours and half fast driving on Italian higways and I was in Salice Terme. Very nice town and the super specials are near by, very easy to find.
About race:I have seen a lot of them, but this one is surley one of the best. Specials are sometimes fast,on clean surface, but in one km totaly different-slow,with a lot of corners, some gravel on tarmac...
Drivers in WRC cars are very spectacular, fast, specialy Silva,Musti, Botta,Oldrati and Garosci, they were faster then Italian No.1 Giggi Galli. Also nice to see fights beetwen S1600 and N4 cars, not to forget A7 cars-old clio is still very atractive(loud!!)
So, a little tired, but verry, verry happy to see this race, which is top-organised and I'm alredy in my minds in Salice Terme for next year.
P.S. Felice Re-sell this crap Fabia, buy something alse....this is less than nothing.
I'm glad you enjoyed the rally, Jure! But what happened to Galli? He should have won the rally. Technical problems?
Any photos from the rally?
Galli had two tyre puncters in one SS, so he retaired. He could not quite match other drivers in top WRC machinery, for two reasons: he drove old focus '02, which is not competetive compare to P307 or even 206 '03, or Impreza '04.
Second reason: drivers in Italian tarmac champ. know stages very well-they are the same for many years, Mateo Musti is here at home, so as I predicted, he was not the fastest until he retaired.
Pictures tomorrow.
Here are some photos, as you will see, the end was also very nice-swiming in pools, there are a lot of them in Terme Salice....
