The thoughts of having a final event at Vegas is a good one, just not at the oval. There was a pre-race energy there from the Mayor, Casinos and public. IMO They need to work on that and create an event someplace closer to the landmarks that Vegas built.
That was posted on the 14th. I have a feeling things will be different after Sunday.
I hope it does go back. My wife and I were really happy when we heard them announce it at the track. We can travel and stay in Vegas for cheap and I think both fans and drivers need to "get back in the car."
If high banked ovals are the problem, then the current schedule for next year is screwed. It has several of them. I hope they bring back some short track ovals like Milwaukee.

Not again a road course please.... Keep the balance at least for a little bit. Except if they'll find a replacement for the Las Vegas oval (and then I mean another oval race as the season finale), then I'd like the idea honestly.
