For me it's quite obvious and logical. If only 8 out of 12 rallies count for ERC standings, what rallies would you eliminate from your programme if you were a driver in a private team? The ones that are most expensive and far away. For drivers from Poland, Bulgaria or Italy it's over 5000 km and the most expensive rally in the calendar. For IRC drivers it's another story, because they are backed by manufacturers...Quote:

The golden years of rallying are long gone and I will never understand why FIA keeps 12 rallies in the ERC calendar. It's idiotic! This championship should have maximum 10 rounds or even less!
