I remember being at the 2003 German GP when we were having a heatwave across Europe. The gridgirl's started to collapse from the heat about an hour before the race started. After the third or fourth one collapsed they took them all in and gave them all drinks before providing them all with parasol's so they could stand on the grid when the drivers and their cars actually got out there. We were rather glad we'd paid extra for a covered grandstand at that GP.
