I believe (and am probably completely wrong) that this is to supply data that can be fed back to the simulator to better represent the characteristicas of the car. Probably be even more important to get accurate simulation of the use of the adjustable rear wing, and how this may or may not influence other aspect of airflow around the car and thus downforce......Quote:
