People over here are obsessed with registration plates. Our Fiat is an 09 reg car which was delivered about a month before the 59 registration plates came out and people will honestly pay more for a car which was built on the same day but has a different plate on it *scratches head* The whole obession with plates means that people tend to get rid of new cars quicker which means there's a plentiful amount of near new cars around so people tend to get rid of older and perfectly decent cars quicker.Quote:

Older cars that have higher insurance groups sell cheaper than older cars that have low insurance groups. My friend when he was 18 bought a Ford Scorpio on Ebay for about £50, until he realised how much the insurance would cost him :dozey:Quote:
