Have to agree with the "normal" mile and a halfers being much of a muchness.
Pocono is different though and never fails to bore me to tears!
Personally would like to see one or possibly two more road courses. Would love to see them round Montreal or Mexico City. Always think there should be one road course in the chase too!

Most of the 1.5 milers lack character. And just because a place is fast it doesnt guarantee its inducive to good racing.
Pocono is a good track and in the past had some great racing. Nascar killed the good racing, not the track.
Fontana and NH should have no more than one race. Give one of them to darlington and the other to a road track.

agree a couple more short tracks would be great but no more roadies please. 2 is enough. i watch NASCAR because it's oval racing that i like watching.
and keep dirt tracks to the dirt racers. dirt is where stock car drivers start out and shouldn't be on the Cup schedule. leave the dirt tracks in NASCAR's top tier in the history books.
and i would NEVER give up a race in Darlington!
NASCAR was racing on dirt tracks before Darlington was built. In a way, this would actually be more traditional.Quote:

on edit: DuQuoin could handle 43 cars, but the pit situation would have to be addressed, the pits are at the edge of an infield lake (laid out for boat races by the way.) and to come back onto the track you run along side of it and have to make a sharp right turn to get back on the track and then of course a sharp left to get going the proper direction. ARCA had pit stops under yellow and it was something else, I can just imagine 43 Nascar cars coming out, I bet some of said cars would end up in the lake! :D . I have never seen Springfield so I don't know how it is there.
