I'm confused, wasn't the prize for winning the cupra's a SEAT backed drive in the BTCC?
Why did they have to leave anyway? They'd have been odds-on for the title next season.

The prize for winning the SEAT Cupra Championship was a works backed touring car drive. It does not mention which series.

The only engines available to independent teams are leased petrol engines or customer owned engines, if you own the engine then you can either have Seat do the rebuilds or buy an engine kit and have your own engine work done!
about time they both stepped up they could be the new big thing in 2009!
You don't have too now. It seems Seat have clarified the situation themselves: http://www.seatsportuk.co.uk/BTCC/20...asp?ID=1191113Quote:
