And I'm quite sure the teams would find other ways to work out if a driver is going faster in a stage than another - speed camera perhaps on the a section and this is then communicated into the car - nothing to do with splits but still giving an indication of how the guy in front (or behind) is doing.
Now that would be a great thing! It would be so easy to get penalties for the opposing team - just send guys with pit boards out to stages and order them to show those to everyone else but your own drivers.Quote:

No, but it's one of them. And beat the teams that tries to get around the ban with a stick until they learn.
100% correct - if split times are available anywhwere then they'll find a way into the car even if the co-driver has to use the web browser on a smart phone to get them.Quote:
