No other team uses older car for these kind of tests regularly, and I have not seen any other driver doing that either on regular basis. Citroen did it for Meeke on at least 3 rallies, maybe more (Spain, Germany, Corsica). Corsica was even before they acknowledged (at least officially) the car had issues and way before they started doing some changes to it.
