wish I'd had that when I got my arm trapped between the cage and the door during an off. Elbows aren't as squidgy as I expected :'(
Or maybe Prokop is inspired by Gigi and gets a bit fistycuffsy so he's wearing padding ready for a sparring session
Efcharisto, dimviii :) The photo of Prokop in the tunnel is in my opinion on St. Jean en Royans stage.
There has been a several years long discussion about HANS here including a petition against its mandatory use. You know there has been a large number of back injuries in last couple of years which were uncommon in the past. Even in WRC Dennis Kuipers, Ilka Minor and several others suffered broken lumbar vertebrae. In the IRC it was Guy Wilks for example. Here drivers association asked several doctors and they made a statement that especially in case of impact from the bottom the usually used form of HANS transform too much force into the strain of lower back and therefore can cause a fracture in the S-shape of the spine. Of course often it's caused by wrong HANS size or angle of the collar or wrong seat size, loose belts etc. Another factor is if there are normal belts used or those with helper stripes for HANS fixation. The Simpson Hybrid HANS shall not cause this transformation of vertical load into lumbar spine.Quote:

Temperature on those two stages will be +1..+4 during their runs. there will be medium and heavy rain that turns very heavy during the powerstage
Turini stage. temperature will be between +2.. and -3 during the whole three runs.it should snow on all elevations right now. medium to heavy snow continues whole day and turns very heavy tomorrow eavning (maybe just after the last stage - too late). I dont see 50 cm coming before the end of rally stages (maybe 20 cm).. but by Sunday evening it can be 50 cms, maybe.
At around 10-11 it should change from snow to rain on lower elevations. however, It continues to snow on the most of the stage. SS16 will be difficult tomorow.. with studded tyres from celan stage to snowy..
Nice to see Novikov climbing the ladder! But what is going on with Sordo? I know Monte is a bit of a lottery of a rally but dani used to be THE tarmac specialist behind Loeb.
Probably has something to do with the white stuff on top of the tarmac.
That's better :)Quote:
