Hint: Built 4 500 winning cars, a ton of midgets (One Foyt was the winner of Astrodome GP in 1970 was built in 1946.) a sports car that some say was the greatest ever built and tons of Indy Roadsters but this was the last in the line although he built the Chassis for two Novis after this car and one of the Novi was in the 1965 race with this Roadster. The last time a car built by this person would appear at Indy.

I know it is a Kurtis - but I could dig up nothing more than that.... if only the Novi's followed it must have been built in 1955 or 1956. Based on that I am going to guess it is the Kurtis 500G that Johnny Boyd drove in the 1956 500... but that is just a guess....

Nope much later. Last Indy car Frank Kurtis built. He built the #6. #56 Novis in 1962 (Numbers in 1963), Numbers in 1964, #3 and #28 and in 1965 #59. This car was built in 1961 and was one of a kind, but sat out for years. Bobby Grim in 1964 and Arnie in 1965.
Nothing difficult just who built the car. Other than the Novis what other famous non winner did Frank Kurtis build for the 1952 race?

He built the Cummins Diesel car - one I am quite fond of aesthetically...
