I don't think that anybody was following this rally.
But it doesn't matter, because the most exciting story of this event is the story of the great, one and only Slawomir Ogryzek. He was planning to drive this rally with his newly built Peugeot 208 R2. But he couldn't do it, because he crashed the car during the pre-event test session! He decided to switch to his old Citroen C2 R2. Unfortunately he crashed it already on the first day of the rally! He managed to repair it for day 2 only to crash it once again on just the second stage! What a talent! :D
