Lappi was even faster in the last split.

nice to see happy and fast Lappi!
What a stage by Lappi, hats off! Exciting battle for fourth.
Question: What did the boss tell you about the fight with Toyota?
Lappi: Beat them! :D
Clearly Latvala is under orders to Finish, which is perfectly sensible (for once) from Toyota.
JML settling for the points.
'issue' for Latvala called - Tommi Makinen
Its great for us that citroen doesn't care about the manufacturers championship.
If he beats tanak, good for ogier.
If he crashes trying to, also good for ogier.
If he pushes tanak into some mistake or crash, even better for ogier.
The worst thing lappi can do for the team is staying second.
I just editted my post. The Evo has slightly smaller top speed than the original Fabia. Approximately 187 for the Evo compared to 191 km/h for the older one. The older model has also somewhat weaker engine.
It was nice that they let a bit more time for the WRC2 as well because for example Gryazin is very spectacular driver.
Well I remember in 2017 Hyundai did like 185 ish on straights while Toyota was hitting 200.
Could be some very tricky and possibly cruel team orders to be decided by Hyundai & Citroen tomorrow.
He seems to be a bit frustrated but overall he is just analyzing why he is loosing time. Seems a bit surprised and says that it probably due to changed mentality after service. Tried to be a bit more careful and now cant find the pace anymore with the mentality shift.
Big ruts on this stage.
I'm looking forward to the highlights tonight. WRC+ Live uses so much heli coverage that the jumps really dont show much. The views from stage-side cameras will be much more fun.
Ogier has done well after being so sick last night. Still in the battle with Mikkelsen.
Loubet stopped
According to ewrc Lindholm's Polo suffered another suspension failure after jump (likely similar to Veiby in Portugal or Sardinia - I don't remember where it was):

And what a rally indeed! The best
Can anyone point me in the direction of the TV highlights in the UK tonight please?
I don't have BT sport.
Thanks in advance.
Whatta day!!
We started from Päijälä1 "Veibys place" and Markkanen rolled heavily. Then moved 500m towards start and watched vetomies and got one rolled(Teppo)
Then to Pihlajakoski2 and almost saw Pajari rolled.
Then to Leustu2 and we saw Loubet way too much entering to corner (almost 50kmh too much speed) and it took over 6minutes to get him back to road.
Very much action but also wrc guys speed is amazing!

The huge crash of Raul Badiu (JWRC) caught on video:
https://twitter.com/alekslesk/status...860734466?s=20
He used hand brake and took high speed off backwards. Only rear hatch was broken but when we got car off from tree stumb he accelerated back to road and broke front bumper. Nothing serious I think so. He and co-driver were out of car and we told him that we try to get him back and we did it!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ee82bced47.jpg

all you need to know about JML todays unperforming. All right except last 3 words)
Saturday highlights are up, interesting things:
- Lappi cutting trough the bushes, think that's SS12
- Breen moment on SS13 onboard, same as the one shown from the outside on michelin vid
- Latvala moment on SS12 almost jumping off the road
- Neuvilles Novikov moment from the outside
- Mikkelsen evading a rock in the line in quite high speed on SS16
- Katsuta ripping off his wheel like 10 meters from the startline in first corner
What was missing was how Neuville damaged his suspension.
https://youtu.be/LX1AQPHi6nM?t=18 probably here. 3:27 in the Kakaristo2 onboard.
Looks like it, can't see what he hits though (tree/bank/stone?), seems it could have ended much worse.
On the onboard he actually has a touch on the inside first.
Really like the idea of having guests in the all live studio between the stages. Yesterday they had Malcolm Wilson talking about his 40 years in the Motorsport and also Peter Solberg and Oliver. Today Marcus Gronholm and Mads Ostberg were there and what a legend is Marcus. Really interesting stories especially from his days in Peugeot and the 307 experience.
