Not lost but beyond difficult.

27 points gap and you say it isn’t lost? He basically needs neuville to retire in Australia. Impossible
It is in ogiers hands now
Like to see Sordo get a home win after the way Liatti was denied a San Remo win.
Agreed. Mikkelsen is just done. At least with this car he is.
Yes yes, same story from Sweden, it was all over then for some...a difficulty unnecessary, but like said, no one is finished yet, positions will change for sure, there is a PS and if the gap is less than 30p, everything is possible.
Waiting to see him now go flat out afternoon. All or nothing now
It was stupid to count virtual points while the rally was still not over. Neuville 30s ahead and difficult to catch but you never know. Lappi and Breen should be quite catchable + PS points. Still some 130-140 km to go. Let's see....
Come on you guys, there is still half of the rally left, and you saw that with this rain anything can happen, it isn't over until they cross the finish line.
Wuuuhhaaa Linda Jackson in studio to talk about believe in drivers... interesting. Sounds almost like it was her pushing to get Ogier, I don't think so for a split second.
Realistic place for Tanak now it's maximum Neuville without any 'extra'. And Ott must hope only for troubles for Neu and Ogier in Australia
Neuville is definitely possible. He was 9 secs quicker than him on the first stage.
A lot of rain please now
Since how much time isn't Lappi getting laid?
Interesting battle now for the rally victory. Latvala is now allowed to win, hope he can now use this chance. Sordo's dream is to win his homerally, and he's now leading, thought only with 0,3 sec. Sordo will definately fight. However also Evans, Loeb and Ogier are Still in the battle. Ogis is 5th only 13,1 sec behind Sordo.
Rovanperä tooked his own position as a WRC2 leader.
For the last two rallies I have lost all the respect for Lappi. Acting like a little kid.
Any videos of Block's off?
Ott: “this year has happened so much that I’m already getting used to it “
Complete story from the talks around:
1. Ogier got an offer from Citroen after germany 2017 and Matton said he really wanted him
2. Supposedly the offer was not very high + no big commitment announced from manufacturer + Linda Jackson said in some interview that their focus was maximum PR for a given amount of money.
3. Ogier refused the offer, in his interview this year he says it was also about the team leadership (and manu commitment) and that he always had good relations with engineers. I read this as him saying he does not have best relations with Matton (which is perfectly understandable)
If Linda Jackson really wanted Ogier so much then she could have done any of the following:
a) put in more money in his salary
b) promise more resources for the team/development
c) kick Matton (this kind of happened, but seemingly a bit later)
=> Does not look like she really wanted him at that point
This year:
4. Meeke got kicked, in Budar's words as a "joint" decision with the leadership. (sounded very much like they forced him to do it)
5. Ogier joins and Linda Jackson gives massive praise to how important is it to have Ogier and good atmosphere in team in an interview just 50 mins ago.
=> Either Linda is just doing PR and it was mainly Budar's pressure that got Ogier (my opinion) or she changed her mind at some point.
Do you think canceling stage because of crowds is right?
Punishing so many spectators because of some misbehaving individuals or groups is not right.
Don't they have police in Spain? Army?
Organizers should be prepared for those kind of situations.
Yes, it cost money, but if they can't pay, better close the stage for public in advance.
