I think we might look back at the end of the season for this as the real turning point. OK, lot of rallies left, a lot can happen, but Ogier is in a little trouble now already I think.

Deja Vu anyone?
What an ending of a rally, so close, and Neuville beats Ogier for the total on last stage. Congrats!
Now it is WRC2 podium decider, tight there as well!
Last two rallies have been a huge statement of intent from Neuville. Hopefully he's learned from last season and doesn't crumble from Finland onwards
Now stewards can without any risk apply a TC20A late penalty for car #1
Wow what a stage!!!!!!! what a rally!!!!! please let them continue like this for the 2nd half of the season!!!! Hopefully the i20 Coupe will be faster than last year in the greatest arena of the all- Rally Finland....
Amazing.
Fantastic battle! Let's hope Ogier isn't punished for the thing with the time-card, it would be a shame if the title is decided that way...
Great drive from Thierry.....and when a win is more than just a win! Beating your main rival in a head to head, and to take the win after being behind. Big statement!!
Now bring on the 2nd half of the season.....
Great rally, great battle, what a drive by Neuville! I hope he takes the title this year!
Sick dogs makes a maximum brake from a rally :D
Great rally for Neuville, well done.
The "boss" was beaten fare and square.
Well done to Neuville.
Though I do hope Ogier will put in a blinder of a second half of the season and that the Fiesta updates work a treat.

Now we wait a month and a half for the next one....

Amazing win by Thierry! Today he went up another level! Very well done. Fight is truly on!
nice win for Neuville, straight fight,no error. This weekend was slight faster.
Now on Finland,if Hyundais are not fast like last year, maybe Ogier cant capitilise that,if Toyotas are fast like last year.
Big gap in points now, lets see how the champ will cope.
And note... no moaning from Neuville about road position and he WIN! Completely different to current champion
: "I tried everything I could today. I was always losing a few tenths here and there. The last stage was very rough and I made two mistakes which cost me a few tenths. It is still good points for the championship. We lost the battle but we haven't lost the war. There are still six rounds to go, it isn't time to panic. Thierry was lucky with the rain but there will be another rally where he loses time as the road opener."
SUN 13:36 - PROVISIONAL WRC RESULTS
The results remain provisional after a bizarre incident at the finish of the penultimate stage when Ogier hurriedly departed in his Ford Fiesta without collecting his time card. It was later delivered to him by Ott Tänak and news is awaited on whether Ogier will receive a penalty.

Because Tanak/ MJ gave 'outside physical assistance' to Ogier. Only the organisers probably could have done that within the rules.
Therefore Ogier's timecard incident is likely to result in some type of penalty, potentially disqualification - What is similar Makinen(dsq) getting help to change the tyre at the Safari from the locals? https://www.nation.co.ke/news/1056-4...btz/index.html
Is the Ogier incident like the Dakar Rally and like the Peterhansel saga. The French language rule interpretation will have to be checked against the English language rule translation ?
The WRC rule books and technical regulations s provided to the wrc teams are likely to be more detailed than the pdf wrc rules posted online?
