secure the win probably

Is it just me or was the footage of the Fafe stage quite poor? The live-footage from the Fafe sprint last years was much more impressive, better camera view-points that captured the spectacle and atmosphere much better...
Thought Latvala might crack under the pressure from Ogier, but 10 seconds SHOULD be enough...shouldn't it? ;)
Wow Latvala finally.. didnt expect that stage win !
He must take the rally win now or he never will beat Ogier. Go Jari !!
I don't understand by the way. Yesterday Ogier was setting amazing time in a bad road position. I expected him to take 5-6 seconds to the other guys in the long one and 2-3 seconds on Fafe...
sorry my mistake.

http://www.rtbf.be/livecenter/live_p...tugal?id=32018 Powerstage live on RTBF (Belgian TV, French-spoken). Don't know if it will work outside Belgium, but for anyone without WRC+ it's a good alternative. ;)

Unfortunately end of the day for us, Broken Control Arm 15kms in to SS15 @rallydeportugal #WRC2 @RMCMotorsport
Well, the reason why Ogier is not much faster is simple. When he was first on the road, then he had some sweeping effect but not the greatest, because the road was not cleaning much from sand, it was getting rougher. It was also more destructive for soft tyres, so, beeig first on the road, on the sandy surface was less destructive and this was the reason why he was taking time at the end of the stages (his softs were still working by the end of stage, while others were overheating and wearing much more (less sand, more abarasive). Today you didnt see the same effect on the long stage, he was even slower than Jari. Basically he is msart enough to turn disadvantage to his advantage;-)
Thanks, Barreis
I have returned from Rallye Cesky Krumlov and I am watching results from Portugal. And it is really big shit. There are different times on wrc.com and official pages of rally...
