 I have time to flick through, but posting takes time. Sorry you feel like that.

Hey Steve, if you continue to post tonight you'll celebrate your 9000 th post with Nessie.
I rarely post any more either. I've only watched 2 full F1 races this season and the rest have been highlights, sometimes catching them days after the race.
I'm not afraid to admit I got bored of F1 and have been focusing on family on Sunday's and other interests. I still follow to loosely through habit but the excitement has dwindled for me.
Nice to pop in though, hi guys and dolls. :)
Hi Henners
I have pictures. I posted a couple on FB and one above. :)
By the way, my 9000th post pic may disappoint you or make you very happy. As it does not feature me :rotflmao:
Talking about reading minds and fb, look what I just found on my timeline as a suggested post

There you go. You should clearly save up and visit. I know how you love the rain. :D
Oh well. 8999
OK. Make me happy before I go to sleep.....
Or disappointed

That"s really sweet......
Can't believe you're the kind to buy such....how shall I call it??????
In Romanian we call it "mutunache"
I bought him in 2005 when I went to Scotland. Nessie.
I took him as a mascot in 2007 and 2008 when I also visited Scotland.
So when I decided to go back this year, I dug him out of the cupboard and he has sat on my car dashboard for the 560 mile (902 KM) journey. He also comes along on walks as a good luck mascot.
There you are. Here he would be called a "soft toy"
I bet you also sleep with Nessie.
Like Mr Bean with Teddy :p

Gadjo you are making fun of me....... :p
NO!
Most of us have a kid inside ourselves but aren't tough enough to admit it. That kid in you is the one that make you smile ( in all pictures :). ), enjoy even the small things ( like flowers ) and believe that any of us has a good side even if we don't show it.

Home from Scotland. 1,468 miles (2,362 km) done in my old 2005 Ford Focus. Not bad.
 You're a fast driver.......F1 is waiting for you.:p
Anyway welcome back although I wish you had a longer holiday.
Bear hugs to Nessie!
That was that distance in total. Took me a bit over 7 hours to do the 400 miles from Edinburgh to home. Not bad.
Amazed my old car did not conk out. :D
Why do you wish I had a longer holiday? :p
I know it was half of the distance. But I also know ( ) that you left Edinburgh quite late. In my country roads are crap and on the few highways there are speed restrictions, that's why I'm impressed.
I wish you stayed longer to relax and enjoy Nessie's company as you seemed to have a good time.
How far north did you go?
Personally, I'd always like a longer holiday. Two weeks in Norway this month just wasn't enough!
I went up to the Highlands around Loch Ness and Kyle of Loch Alsh. It wasnt for very long although I treated the driving as part of it as its nice driving up there.
This was a short notice thing so was only for 5 days. Plan to go again for a longer period next time.
Those damned 'good' guys with guns have let America down for the 294th time in 2015. If only someone in America had guns.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants and especially school children as often as possible.

Forgot how busy you get doing a degree. Hardly had time to visit here in the last month. Got 3 major assignments due in the next week or so.. Commercial Law, Statistical Analysis and Marketing. I miss the old days when I had a life :)
SO far so good, averaging in the mid 70's across the three papers, having an extremely poor tutor for Law makes it quite difficult. She marked my first test and gave me 68%, on reading through it I found another 10 marks she had not given me even though my answers contained all of the aspects of her 'model answer'. I don't complain much, but that sort of thing is quite annoying. :)
Anyone up to anything interesting? All I seem to be doing lately is working. :p
My publishing house just released the book that I edited. Oh boy, it did take me some effort and time, over a year. I worked on it at home, at Vienna airport, Washington DC and Kabul. It is a book on the history of Lithuania translated into Belarusian. The idea was to bridge a gap between our small nations, which argue pretty much about everything, and present a Lithuanian point of view to Belarusians. The translator was not an expert on the subject, so I had to check the translation for the accuracy, check all the proper names and terminology, provide comments and polish the language. Probably about a hundred people will be able to appreciate the product, but I still feel satisfaction.
That's great Rudy! Congrats.
I'd buy a copy even if I don't understand the language. It could become one of the hundred books I bought without ever reading them. :s
BTW, I clearly remember that you wrote a book about your country history. Have you published it?
Well, looks like it's my 9000th post on this forum.
I won't celebrate it cos I'm not in the mood for this
Took me 10 years and 9000 posts to realize what a fool I could be.
That's really sad......

Even more dangerous if you compete with others.... and often win!
Quite a bit on my mind lately. I've recently become unemployed, which naturally ramps up stress levels. But I'm on a fitness kick lately, so that helps keep things in check. For the above reasons I've been less active on here and in other areas as I've found distractions keeping me busy.
But I still enjoy the forum. Lately more Chit Chat than the F1 forum, seems we agree to disagree more easily in here.
And I think we should throw a 9000 post party for a certain poster here. I think the forums would have died at some periods without her!
Cheers gadjo, not been around much lately but I am always game for a round of forum beer!

Day by day other injured people lose the battle with life. This morning it was #48th turn. He was my neighbour.
R.I.P. Tudor :s :s :s
Is there something more awful than parents losing a son in such terrible incident?
