Côte d'Ivoire?
Ivory Coast?
Sorry Angola is incorrect.
Schmenke, non and no to you :p :
Portugal had an interest in this country?
Brasil?
Not Brazil. Interesting...you have veered from Africa? :p :
Portugal, along with Britain wanted to form strong trade links (erm, colonise)with this country but it ended up being ruled by another European country until after WW2.
Well, just about everywhere else I thought of had been said and was wrong :p :Quote:

Hints at being a former German colony? Maybe Togo?Quote:

Keep clamouring!
Maybe even a Belgian colony?
Congo - don't ask me which one, I have no idea :p
Portuguese Guinea is my guess, but it is not known as that any more. Buggered if I can remember what though
I'm with you on this one, Equatorial Guinea?Quote:

Nope. I am surprised as I thought that it was am easyish Q compared with some!
So it's in Africa then? Name random African countries on the atlantic time.
Benin?
Yes.
Then no.
I'm tempted to guess South Africa... :s
I would say with almost 100% certainty no :p Doesn't sound like the name of a river in SA to me at all ;)Quote:

Not South Africa.
For a Motorsport loving forum I thought that this country would be well known, at the very least the capital city :D
Senegal?
Aye! Well done. It flows through Senegal before reaching the Atlantic :)
Your Q.
Where would you find Sealand?
Exact location please.
The Netherlands? :s
In the English channel just off the coast on an ex-RAF something or another :p :
It's in the North Sea, just off the coast of Harwich.
There's a Sealand in the Dee Estuary near Chester but I suspect you mean the other Sealand :pQuote:

Carl is closest. He can have the next question.
Sealand is an ex-WWII sea defence fort, the size of a big oil rig, which is claimed by a British family (name escapes me!) as their own sovereign country. It's had a little war with Denmark and everything.
Wasn't there a pirate radio staion broadcsting from there as it was outside the UK's territorial limits?
It wasn't Radio Caroline or radio London which I guess were the most well known stations. A quick search shows that some of the stations broadcasting from barges and ships were meant to move here, but this never happened as the laws changed.
Family name is Bates.
The guy who owns Sealand used to own Radio Caroline. There are loads of offshore servers there now.
Woohoo...................erm...............don't have anything at the mo, someone else have a go :D
Here's a quickie for 'ya.
What's a Tower Block and who's got the densest ones? How about the biggest one, Tower Palace, where is it?
I would guess the Tower of London, and it is a foundation stone? Probably too obvious right?
Anything to do with ice, big bergs? I have no idea. Good Q though!
I'd say it's about how many skyscrapers there are in an area and at a guess I'd say Hong Kong? :)
Is it those big blocks of concrete or steel that are found in the upper floors of skyscrapers, used to dampen the swaying motion in high winds?
