Several millions. ;) I assume the city is Bangkok?
I was contemplating using this name as a question, so I know what this particular city is known as, to people in the west. So I was goingl sit back and let others have a go first, but since my friend BleAivano has already pointed out that we know it (incorrectly) as Bangkok, I will submit that as far as I can remember its' population is about 6.5 million
i knew, it is a short one. Anfield5 is right, the answer of BleAviano is wrong. But you are also not correct, we search for are another number....
Maybe my memory is a bit fuzzy, so instead of 6.5 million, I will guess at 5.5 million
Just want to make sure the question is correct. Did you spell check it? :p:D
yes, this is what it sound like: City of angels, great city of immortals, magnificent city of the nine gems, seat of the king, city of royal palaces, home of gods incarnate, erected by Visvakarman at Indra's behest :tweetie:
sorry, but the last census give us a higher number
how specific do you want. To the nearest 100,000, or more exact?
5.8 million
Ok, since you're the only one who thought tries to answer, we solve for your third attempt:
According to the Census of 2010 living in Bangkok 8,280,925 inhabitants.
Anfield5 has the next Question. ;)
Wow that's way bigger than I remembered :)
Question:
There are 3 national flags that are made up of a plain coloured disc on a single coloured background
eg http://condition1industries.com/imag...0Flag%20BW.jpg
What are these three countries
Japan is one, (red disc, white background), then there a flag with green background and red disc but I don't remember what country it is.
One is Japan. Red disc on white background.
Second One is Bangladesh, Red on Green
Japan,
Korea,
Brunei
Palau has a Yellow spot on blue background but I don't think its central.
Does that count?
We have them all.
Japan is a red disc on a white field
Bangladesh is a red disc on a green field
Palau is a yellow disc on a light blue field
as for the others
South Korea has a blue and red disc on a white field
Bunei is a red crescent and praying hands on a yellow field with diagonal black and white bands
So I guess it is you steve
NOT including French Guiana.

I would have said Russia too.
I count 12 or 13 countries its borders at least.
The answer is Russia and CHina both have 14, so BleAivano, or Steve it's over to you.
er.... gadjo or me, but Gadjo got in first.
Go ahead Gadjo:kiss:
If you meant The Great Lakes then everybody knows Superior , Huron, Michigan, Erie, Ontario...
But if you meant some great lakes Waterton Lakes on the Alberta -Montana border are really great lakes, Lake Champlain on the Vermont-Quebec border is great, too.. Very pretty.
Lake of the Woods on the border of Minnesota-Ontario-Saskatchewan is pretty great for canoe adventures. Shoreline is incredible with millions of bays..
Lake of the Woods is a sizable body of water.
And yes, Lake Champlain is very pretty. I used to swim at the public beach near Plattsburg.
Nearby is Lake Memphramagog, smaller, but just as pretty.
A couple of other notable cross border lakes:
Lake Osoyoos on the British Columbia – Washington border.
Lake Kookanusa (although technically a reservoir) on the British Columbia – Idaho border. A popular lake for boating and nearby camping.
What's the use of getting bonus points?
You win MORE! More is always better than less! If you go shopping you see a bottle of dish wash soap and it says "25% More free" that's a lot better deal, right... Only a cynic would ask "How can it be 25% free-er than free?"..
"You can't think like that!
What would happen if everybody thought that way?" <----bonus points for the name of one of greatest books ever written that that is a quote from
And extra Geographic Bonus points for naming the island where that epic bit of logic was uttered.
Aha!.... Win more points but get only the right to ask the next Q
Same if I win with the right answer and have 7 skittles shot down.
The St. Lawrence river flows generally west to east.
I believe this is a bit of a trick question as, by volume, I would guess it’s the Mackenzie River flowing from Great Slave Lake into the Beaufort Sea, contained entirely, I believe, in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
By length, it might be the Red River that flows along the North Dakota – Minnesota border (not sure of its source), through Manitoba and empties into Lake Winnipeg.
What is the Athabasca River? I think it flows north into Lake Athabasca
By largest do you mean greatest flow or greatest length?
Not that it matters as my knowledge of North American rivers can be written on a [small] postage stamp. And none of the ones I know flow north!
