Nice Rally so far for Ostberg
Factory team is not in Finland. The car is from Even rally. Anyway I think that it shows the days of naturally aspirated S2000 cars are over.Quote:

Paddons on a Kubica hunt...
I atleast expected him to be quicker than this, i expected him to be ahead of Paddon on home soil, especially from his result from last year. Do you think maybe the difference is in Even Rally car compared to the BRR car?Quote:

It's not only a matter of the NA S2000 Car. Pardon is faster than Lappi. I expected him much faster. Before the event I didn't think that Kubica could be faster than him.Quote:

I'm well aware that the car is Even provided and not the factory but my point was that is Lappi thinking he doesn't need to push that extra 10% since he has a contract in his pocket. Because he isn't so good against other S2000.Quote:

Loving following the splits and stage times of this rally, there's fighting all over, less than a minute separating the top 5, with Mikkelsen knocking on the door....
Ostberg finally showing his speed against the seemingly unstoppable Ogier, and Hirvonen is waiting to pounce.
Who expected Meeke and Nikara to do so well? And Ketomaa v kubica v paddon!
theres fighting everywhere!
Does anyone still miss Loeb? :bounce:
his name Alexey, mostly drive in Baltic states :)Quote:

Theyre punching above their weight, fantastic to see the pair of them doing so well :)Quote:

Paddon is now on 2,33 s/km. What comes from that? All S2000 are slower compared to WRC now and Lappi is around 0,3 s/km slower to Paddon than last year.Quote:

Isn't the conclusion that the WRC still get evolutions and the S2000 barely non because R5 comes now..?
How popular sport rally is in Finland:

I know from Fred Miclotte that Fabia they drove this year in Ypres was significantly better than the one from 2011. Reasonably stronger engine, completely different dampers etc. But that goes to works car. These upgrades (I think especially the engine is 2013 evolution) may not be present in car of Lappi or Paddon. I have no idea about that.Quote:

and even more trouble for brynhildsen? he has done really good in norwegian championship this year, really hoped he will bring that with him to here. but the R5 is too new?
he said if he don win this year. he will stop rallying. maybe he is expecting to do so on tarmak.Quote:

They have not make it a huge thing, but they certainly said something about his performance in last SSQuote:
