Do these generation cars have some kind of anti-stall system. Both Prokop (0:26) and JML (5:16) engine seem to cut off when they lock the tyres but engine kicks in after a second or so.
Official highlights:

It even scares JML...Quote:

Watching the video, I remember the wise words by Loeb that I read this afternoon:
"Q: This is a true Monte, isn’t it…
A: I have never done the rally with a lot of snow, it’s always been one stage or half a stage, but usually more like a tarmac rally. At the moment, it’s not like this, the conditions will be tricky. On the shakedown, I think we were lucky it was in the field, because I think some time everybody went in the field somewhere! But tomorrow, it is not in the field, tomorrow we have walls, rocks and ditches. Let’s see what we can do.”
Which stage is that again?Quote:

SS3 Burzet-St Martial. It's the highest point of the stage. On the first photo, cars arrive from the road on the right and go to the back of the photographer. After a few meters, they turn right and start to descend. This is a good onboard of the stage (the crew reaches the town at 12:58):Quote:

I'm not sure about the second photo, but I believe it was taken few meters before the town.
By the way, there's a great onboard of Le Moulinon-Antraigues in the same channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5M-YRWnbww
D-Day for Monte-Carlo :bounce:
Unfortuneately I'll miss SS1 and 2... :mark:

Ladies ans Gentlemans start your engines!
Less than an Hour until stage starts!
WRCLive radio is on in 19minutes
iRally app and http://iRallyLive.com website will have latest news!
Damn, I'll have to rely to Twitter/Forum/etc. for the morning loop, the single and only mandatory four-hour lecture where you actually need to focus a bit happens to be just today... :-P
I'm on my winter holyday. Should I go skiing or follow splits of SS1?
That's a tough one :D
Who thinks VW will be competitive?? Should be an interesting day!
Who will be the first top driver to hit problems in these difficult conditions??
I will say, Ogier....
In these conditions, it is more to the tyre choice and the driver's ability than car's performanceQuote:
