Good guy makinen_fan . Thank you very much. I really appreciate your effort.
this website did the trick guys:
Download Facebook, Youtube Videos
save it for future use!
OK guys, here is another one video: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...type=2&theater
Makinen_fan: I told my colleagues on czech rally forum to do some trick like this about 2 hours ago, but they are so...
Here it's on youtube.

The squeezing sound remains me of this (Pffft, but at the time a good moment to ask a girl for a dance and say a very good song and then .or having a slap in your face and going home, sometimes) ;)
When I said I hoped we would see some test footage of the Fabia 1.6T this year I didn't mean "today" :D
It sounds nice, but I still wished these cars revved higher and had a bit more "violence" about them.
Anyway, early days. I guess we can expect Skoda to be on the top again in 2015 as they will have 18 months of testing with the engine and 6-12 with the actual car.
Just popped into my mind. For a manufacturer to have the homologation they have to manufacture 25 000 cars of that family but I remember reading somewhere it’s possible to homologate a car if the 25 000 units are made until the end of the year. Could it be possible for the new Skoda to be homologated already in the beginning of 2014 or soon after the new model is introduced?
Does someone knows where can I get the Blueprint from the new R5 Fiesta?
I tried to contact M-Sport but they didn't replied me :S
It is now reported that the Fabia 3 road car won't be launched until later in the year (probably at the Paris motor show in September) so no chance of that I think.Quote:

One more video, a bit shaky and only with hairpins at the wooden bridge
Å*koda Fabia 1.6 Turbo - Sepp Wiegand - YouTube
Lots of nice traditional turbo sounds.
Anyone know whether the engine is "homemade" or from an external partner?
I think in-house development but I'm not sure about that.
The most interesting point about the video is the clear presence of anti-lag.
The sound is much better than previous clip
I'm pretty sure this isn't going to happen, but could Skoda knock up a quick R5 version of the current (old) Fabia to use in 2014 to test the drivetrain thoroughly in normal conditions in preparation for the Fabia '3' R5?
Otherwise they aren't going to have a competitive car with which to compete next year...
like the sound of that idea but I wouldn't have thought an S2000 chassis with R5 engine and gearbox would be allowed to compete as an R5 - unlesss you don't mean to run competitively on rallies....
Maybe it could compete as an RRC however?Quote:

Are any new Group A i.e. S2000 or RRC cars allowed to be homolgated since 1st Jan 2013 though?
S2000 for a long time not..
I'm pretty sure they will not compete next year...Quote:

I personally expect them to appear few times here and there to test some ideas which can be tested on S2000. I think that Jan will stay with the team. Personally I'm not that sure about Esapekka but we'll see.
I'm sure Jan will stay for testing.
Like Mirek says it seems unclear about Lappi. Skoda haven't exactly given him a strong programme this year and his results haven't been amazing either. If they aren't doing many rallies next year I guess he would want to move on.
Looking forward to seeing lots of testing of the Fabia R5. Bit frustrating we have to wait so long when that test cars looks/sounds pretty decent already.
2 Fiesta R5 to Portugal: Joćo Barros and Diogo Salvi.
According to autoklub.pl, M-Sport have sold 25 Fiesta R5s already. Quite a number in such a short time.Quote:

Rally car on the road
Can the undoubted king of the stage be king of the road as well? Henry tries the brand-new Ford Fiesta R5, part of the bright new future for international rallying !
Is that road from Rally of the Lakes? Looks awesome!

EVO sept
Its the Honister Pass, near Keswick, in the English Lake District.
The M-Sport factory is also nearby at Cockermonth, so I presume that's why they tested the car there.
I just saw this info from Evo on Twitter and haven't read the magazine yet.
EDIT: thanks Makinen-fan !
For those of you who don't know the UK the area known as the Lake District not only contains the lakes but also mountains with steep valleys also produced by the glaciation process that resulted in the lakes. If we could close our public roads for rallies this area would be A1 territory. If you can get on these roads very early in the day (before the tourists) the experience is thrillingQuote:
