It took three hours to repair. Now it's already ok. Yes, he can take points because there are so few cars in SWRC that every one takes points.

Now that I'm catching up with the rally , I must say I'm very surprised by the pace of Kuipers ;) Also , not trying to generate any heat in here , but Matt Wilson is on his 84th WRC start consistenly slower than Ken Block ...

Kuipers is not bad at all on asphalt for a "gentleman" driver, in Germany was also 6th when he had a puncture. Good performance from Araujo too, they are going to fight for 6th place :)

meekes crash was almost identical to martins crash in Corsica 2003 only this time the corner was a right hand one. I have seen external footage of it but cannot find them on youtube or the wrc.com webpage

Yes , Kuipers can put some pretty solid stage times on asphalt , I must say I'm surprised :) However , it must be noted that Deutschland and France are probably his strongest rallies in the calendar , since the stages are the most similar to his home stages . About Araujo , I expected a little more from a double PWRC champion during the whole season , especially because some people put him much higher than he really is . But here he's good , fighting with Henning who for me is the all-time symbol of mediocrity in the WRC level ( exception being on snow - he is at the top there ) , so I hope he will improve .

Also , mr. Muller says S2000 is too slow and weak for him ( Yvan Muller wants World Rally Car for next WRC appearance as S2000 too slow - WRC news - AUTOSPORT.com ) . He should see what mr. Kubica had done with much less powerfull cars , which just proves he was an exception in the rule that circuit drivers aren't very good at rallying . Get well soon Robert !

Also, research carlos reutteman - I had to ask a finnish guy(Eki?) 'cos I couldnt remember this circuit drivers name, but he was very good :)

My friend , read what I said ;) As you pointed put by bolding , I said that Kubica is an exception . Robert Kubica is my favourite rally driver ever , because whenever I saw him live ( and I had the luck to see him on 2 rallies in 2010 , 1000 Miglia and Alpi Orientali ) he left me absolutely spechless . Just watch this video at 1:09 ( Rallye du Var 2010 ES1 1ere partie.wmv - YouTube ) and you will see what I mean . I am 100% sure that this man , if he wanted to , could be an tarmac winner in the WRC , and with gravel experience , who knows , maybe a champion ? That scenario I am afraid we will never see , and it is such a shame for a natural rally talent like him to take it as a hobby .

Why did I say that he is an exception in the rule that circuit drivers aren't very good at rallying ? Look at the last 2 F1 world champions that have tried in rallying : Kimi had a few impressive performances in the 2nd Italian league , but he mostly failed in anything higher . And Mika Hakkinen is simply bad at rallying .

Cruel indeed, but 5 minutes has been stamp for many years. For the first speeding you cent financial punishment. That decision means that Lemes has practically lost a chance to wi a title. He has to win GB and 13 stages in GB and hope that Breen and Kaur fail to finish. So, basically it will be now between Kaur and Breen in GB
