There are more rally fans hoping to see Polo S2000 winning many rallies, but there is still reliability problem.
The car is fast and looks much better than Punto or Peugeot, I would like to see it in Poland again! :)
Wrong for me the Polo doesn't look better than the 207 :p :
GTA, will there be 2 Polos in Jalhay, thought the man himself rene georges would drive on? Anyway, I will be there! :D
1 Polo S 2000 ( Loix) and 1 Polo S 1600 and we have a Rally in Portugal with the S 2000.
Tom, last good looking Peugeot was 306 maxi :)
Raven: Desing is absolutely subjective ;)
Duval will start in Condroz-rallye (2-3-4 Nov) with a Punto S2000 in "Yacco"-livery. Main opponents are Loix, Casier and Cols.
There are already 207s in yacco livery(from BSA)so I try to imagine a Grande Punto in these colours... :mark:
Should look like...

This week-end the penultimate event of the portuguese rallies championship is running(Rali Mortagua - tarmac)and leader Bruno Magalhaes only needs three points to become champion... ;)
A video of the shakedown can be seen on http://www.ralis.online.pt :D
Bruno's main rival José Pedro Fontès(Grande Punto S2000)was spectacular on the video
Magalhaes won SSS yesterday but Fontes did a mistake(and had to reverse his Grande Punto)...and lost 29s :s
Live-results on:
http://www.sigera.org/mortagua2007/
Sepp Haider is on the entry list of Waldviertel-Rallye in two weeks with an Mitsubishi Evo VI.
Sepp Haider and gravel - fantastic! Really looking forward to it
SS2 Rali de Mortagua: huge best time for Magalhaes(more than 12s faster than Mex Machado, currently 2nd)...big big loss for rival Fontès(more than 3 minutes behind leader) :s
Hey what happens exactly on SS3 Rali de Mortagua ???
Only Magalhaes has his time written, since a very long time now :mark:
I hope not an accident for someone behind him...
José Pedro Fontès went off the road in SS3 explaining why the times didn't come for a lon time(stage stopped) :s
I hope Fontès and Prata his codriver aren't injured in the crash :(
Whatever happens now, Bruno Magalhaes is the 2007 portuguese rallies champion, a well deserved title for his complete 2007 season
Nothing serious with Fontes and Prata... only car damaged..Quote:

Thanks for the precision [Madeira-Rally]
PS: what happened to Bernardo Sousa on SS2 ?? He lost even more minutes than Fontès...
I suppose Bernardo is having some engine problems.. yesterday in SS he was running in 3 cylinders...Quote:

Forgot to mention that Erik Wevers is back behind the wheel of his Corolla WRC as Irelands Eugene Donnelly will drive his Fabia WRCar.
Thanks for the info Huufke ;)
Wow! Sepp Haider? I remember him driving a red and white 306 Maxi in the late nineties. He was a good driver. Good luck to him!Quote:

Worse than last years but Kopecky, Pech or Prokop are there. Nice to see Jevgenij Novikov there.
I think that was the ability and determination of Hevia what led him to those results, not the car.Quote:

we all know that ALberto Hevia is a very fast driver, and he can make the car perform in any condition. Fiat had a very good car on the last rally but could not folow Alberto who was having some problems from the start but did not let it affect his outstanding performance.Quote:

Anyone know the final standings of the championship?
Not the final standings, because their federation is very slow.Quote:
