Yeah, the organisation thought he started a minute earlier or something, so they had to take some time off his total time :)
He's 8th overall :D

any photos from day one?
Start leg 2 terre des Causses now :)
Will be damn hard for the 2WD cars today with rain and mud awaited
I'm worrying :( SS6 terre des Causses is stopped since several hours now, following crash of Matthieu Margaillan(driver of the Volant 207)...no news yet, except it's not written if the crew is or not injured...I'm worrying :(
Finally SS6 terre des Causses cancelled and SS7 currently running...
Codriver Mathilde Margaillan(driver's sister)was unhurt in the crash on SS6, but Matthieu has been injured to leg and shoulder :mark:
Final stage cancelled according to brennisinfo.fr?
Great result of Abbring, 7th overall! :D
why last stage was cancelled?
photos from the rally?
Serious accident of Matthieu Margaillan(driver in the Volant 207) injured to his legs :(Quote:

There is a good entry list for a regional rally next weekend, the 52. Rallye Grasse Fleurs et Parfums in Southern France. Romain Dumas (997 GT3), Nicolas Vouilloz (207 S2000) and Dominique de Meyer (307 WRC) are the favourites for the victory. There are also Michel Boetti (207 S2000), Jacques Seret (Mégane Maxi) and fast Group N driver Franck Lions (Lancer Evo 10).
This rally is also the second round for the French Renault Clio R3 Trophy. Belgian driver Kris Princen leads the Trophy after the first round in Le Touquet and his aim is to try to win this title this year. His main opponents in this rally should be Thomas Barral, Olivier Courtois and maybe the local drivers Philippe Barbero and Frédérique Papavero. There are also 2 new Group N Méganes with Jacques Brilli and Robert Consani.

A guy who went to Touquet and Epernay said Quentin Gilbert is the new Ogier! Is he so good ! His results were pretty good there.

PS: note that Alexandre Bengué and his Mini S2000 are entered in Trophée Michelin on Charbonnières entrylist ;)
Oh NOOOOO !!! Just learnt the Mini S2000 won't be ready in time, so Bengué forfait from Lyon-Charbonnières
:(
Bad news.
Start rallye Grasse Fleurs et Parfums in about one hour ;)
http://www.patricksoft.fr/
Very interesting to follow Romain Dumas and his Porsche "latest generation" because it should show what the value of the car is for next week Lyon-Charbonnières(especially the trophée Michelin where he'll run) :)
After two stages of Grasse Fleurs et Parfums, Dumas 2nd overall behind Vouilloz !!! Not bad for a debut of the big Porsche :D
I think they went from 28 to 29mm restrictor since last year.Quote:

Last week-end David Salanon(207 S2000)won rallye Monts du Lyonnais, ahead of Gilles Nantet(BMW F2000)and Yves Pezzuti(306 Maxi) ;)
These 3 drivers will take part to Lyon-Charbonnières this comin week-end, but apart Salanon they won't be at the wheels of the same cars(Mitsu GrN for Pezzuti, Porsche GT+ fr Nantet) ;)
Armando Pereira's new Ford Focus WRC(he will use it Lyon-Charbonnières this week-end) ;)
http://www.forum-auto.com/sport-auto...et3381-595.htm
How fast is he? Quite a unknown name for me... ;)
Pereira is a gentlemen-driver who drove in the past an Impreza WRC, 206 WRC and 307 WRC. Even for a gentlemen-driver, he is slow...
Yep, he will only bring diversity to the rally cars present at Charbonnières :p :
Ok, thanks mates. :)
First pics of today's shakedown/rallye Lyon-Charbonnières :)

Of course, Charbonnières being a very popular rally in France, you'll find many more pictures(and videos)in the forum mentioned above all along the event...so stay tuned :p :
Start SS1 /Lyon-Charbonnières now
VHC are ahead of modern car on today leg ;)
http://www.patricksoft.fr/
Patricksoft is as usually down.
Fantastic show by the Porsche drivers, Dumas being 4th overall and Nantet 6th overall after leg one Lyon-Charbo'(both being 1-2 of the trophée Michelin far ahead of Salanon's 207 S2000)
The car that Jérôme Chavanne is driving is still his old Xsara VTS?
Dany Snobeck won the rallye Lyon-Charbonnières ahead of Eric Brunson, Romain Dumas, Gilles Nantet, Pascal Trojani, Guy Mottard and Cédric Robert,... ;)
Good show by Manu Guigou in the Megane RS(7th overall)until the car breaks down(retirement) :mark:
Any reason for Guigou's retirement? Anyway much better speed of Mégane on different stages of Lyon-Chrabo.
Amazing perf from the DS3 guys! Very close to best S2000 times
Rouillards Evo was A8 listed, has it already an R4 kit?
Simon Jean-Joseph back in rallying next week at rallye terre de l'Auxerrois(2nd event of french gravel championship)in a Citroën Xsara WRC prepared by Petter Solberg's team :)
Here entrylist(non seeded yet) http://www.asa-auxerrois.com/terre.htm
Craig Breen will start in Rallye de Limousin to prepare for the asphalt rally's in WRC academy :)
Superb news, great to see ''old'' fox back again. I hope for a good result, this cooperation with P.Solberg might bring also future cooperation...maybe a WRC event...???Quote:
