Yes, it is leaving from the fields today with the rain (That is why I offered one beer to the one who gets stuck in the snow:-)). But my rough guess is that ice stays on the road. However, rain will become much heavier in next few hours and with intensive recce they might make the conditions little worse. Road surface temperature close to ss1 is currently +0.2 which is not too bad, yet.
I was talking to the drivers after today recce. They told that snow almost gone on most of stages, only somewhere are frozen parts, but on most of places it is gravel...

But anyway the most important point is he really isn't a fast driver. But at least he is usually spectacular in slow places :)
I asked why, Alexey Lukyanuk fast driver, would it not be a hindrance? ss2, ss3 for exemple, befor regrouping.
Don't worry, there is a qualification like in WRC events. Starting numbers of top drivers are not related to their starting position ;)
