It was a nasty challenge but it wasn't overly high and it wasn't overly reckless or late. As JB said it's not a red card in the Premiership and I don't think that it would warrant a red card in most Champions League games either. I don't buy into the conspiracy thing but that wasn't a red card offence.

What Arsenal accomplish year after year is amazing.Wenger's style football is just beautiful to watch.
What bothers me is Barca supporters saying that Barca had the ball,Real didn't play etc etc,but the score was 0-0 when it was 11 on 11. Mo is a master tactician and he knew what he was doing (he did it with Inter) until the THEATRICS and the corrupt refs gave a helping hand.
IMHO Barca's continuous theatrics are a disgrace to football in general.

Please provide some evidence to your allegation, otherwise this talk is just as empty. Have you been a ref? Can you imagine how hard task this is? Mistakes can happen, players and teams in general are provoking at any cost.
I guess you haven't experienced this at all. And ofcourse Real players did no THEATRICS at all ... as I recall, then DiMaria started this with his magnificent divings and Barca players then took over. At the beginning of the match Real players were constantly down in front of Barca box ...
