Edit, No it was just my Italian he now leads 7, and is 17s behind Navarra with 23 km ss to go.
Would be very happy to see the Mini take its first victory!
I think the championship organisers are right not to allow the 1.6T cars to compete for the title until more are available than just Mini. 'Equalising' two totally different types of engine is a difficult task.
Yep, and add the R4 Evo en Sub to the same class is even a bigger challenge. But I like the idea, if they are almost equal some might have advantage in specific domain to others, which could make interesting championships not always the same car winning.Quote:

And to be even more important this victory is also the first ever victory for new Mini !!! What an honor for Andrea Navarra! About Mikkelsen-as already posted, this championship will be a good learning path for him. Not to forget Andrea Aghini, he is still a master of driving...
Than again, sincere congratulations to Navarra and his wife Simona Fedeli.
Maybe Navarra was really good, but we have to remember that he had no real opposition on this rally. Aghini was out of competition for many years and Mikkelsen, as far as I know, has never won anything...Quote:

Aghini is a great driver, but what had he won in the age of 21.......??
