Stage 3 cancelled. FFS spectators!
good job, awful fans
Michelle ruin this sport!
should use some p*pper spray on those mor*ns..
Yeah, Loeb poised to go up.
such a shame, it would have been very interesting stage
Tyre strategy now has changed completely and the guys who were betting for slippery conditions are now quite screwed...
There'll be a lot of heavy braking during this liaison section where those with studs on are trying to wear them down.
Why don't the retards just move back when Michelle and other safety crews go round and tell them to. Bastards
Rather watch the action from a tiny bit back than freezing your bollocks off only to get it cancelled
everybody still standing there and not moving to next stage
they are going now trhough the stage, quite a good recce for them ,hehe
Suck a dick, spectators. Suck a dick.
Because some of those people have been spectating here for 30 years, know perfectly good places to stand and arrive 4-5 hours before the stages to be there (tell me another sport with fans doing this) only to be told to move for some blanket 20m rule with no context applied.
I don't know the specifics but if you haven't seen them then don't judge so quickly. The sport has done a good job creating more interest but with so few stages there are more people watching with far fewer places to spectate from.
With only two stages tomorrow it could be a disaster.
now when rallies are so short anyway, every cancellation is even worse
This stage was new...standing there for 30 years is safe yes.
we have here people that standing in safe position and that safety crews told him to move to 'safe' spot. C'mon they already there! And that cancelled 'too fast' Sweden stage in 2017 told a lot to what safety approach they take. Go 50m of a road or stage will be cancelled. It's not right at all.
So I don't think that real situation so bad as Mouton describing.
splits still working haha
This ^
It pisses me off so much that a few people with too big egos ruin it for not only the several thousand that is also along the same stage but the millions sitting at home watching this.
Not to mention for the marshals, the volunteers, the coc, and everybody at the service park who could have slept 1 more hour this morning.
...and the sponsors.
There should be a court where the economic consequences can be settled against the retards who don't comply. That'd get people listening.
Tanak fastest by almost a minute at first split :D
One plus with more stages and stage kilometres is that people would be more evenly divided between stages. But these idiots keep shortening rallies and this way the stages will get more and more overcrowded what will eventually lead to cancelling stages.
Part of the problem. Spectators may think they are in a safe place, and they may well be, but arguing the toss and staying put is futile.
The organisers don't want the massive cost, hassle and negativity a fatal accident would bring.
Spectators should just comply, rather than ruining the stage for fans watching at home, drivers, team crews, TV crews, and for themselves.
There are clearly some members of this forum who have never stood on the side of a road or experienced Mouton's intransigence. In most locations 20m is either impossible or unnecessary. There is never any thought about trajectory or paths - just 'back 20 m'!
Except they were asked to move 20 m back, not to relocate and all of us who have been to the Monte know full well that fans stand in the stupidest of places every bloody year and the fact that more people haven't been killed is a miracle.
Mouton and her team are all ex drivers who knows where the cars end up when they go off so when she tells you to move, you move.
it seems Ott didnt get it that the stage is cancelled.
