hm, maybe (a guess), the massive amount of ice and slushy snow is dispatched by the first 3 cars and cleans for Meeke and those behind, for more gravelly roads? Less studs on the tires after these stages i presume..Quote:

Ogier lost exactly the same amount of time last year on second pass of Hof-Finnskog to stage winner, 28 seconds, and 2 minutes to the leader with the whole afternoon loop!!!!!
