Let's see if Hanninen can fix the car.
When Toyota will stop this fight? It is ok for spectator, but a major thinking must to be taking into account. The victory in the rally and an important score for the championship.
So, finally catching up with today's action. Wow.
Neuville has a golden opportunity this weekend, but precisely now he is struggling for pace. Impressed by Lappi and Suninen, a shame we lost Paddon, and a shame Tanak gad issues also.
Fri 18:01 - SS10: WRC 2 Greensmith
Did not start the stage. Retired from the day.
Fri 18:00 - SS10: WRC 2 Huttunen
Quickest so far in WRC 2, but lucky to escape an excursion into a field. He got back on again but there seems to be damage to the right-rear wheel.

What reason for Gus?
Hanninen now moving towards next stage, so should start on time? Pace is another question.
From those last pics the Hyundai seems to fly nose up.
Hanninen doing 141 kph on the public road. So he might be a bit late to TC.
Also that could get VERY costly in Finland.
Up to 150kph sometimes
Juho late into start TC by ~1 min
Latvala a bit stressed...
Jari-Matti Latvala
SS11 "Not very good stage and I'm not happy. Did some mistakes and I lose a bit of time. Just need to drive a bit cleaner"
Holy shit, Lappi is flying! However, I can still see Latvala winning this one for sure. Lappi is pushing like a hell whilst Latvala is going fast, but not risking it all.

Looks like the fix worked for Hanninen.
Neuville : The rhythm is good but I can't keep the rear in the line. Our car is just not performing enough. We are still far away.
Lappi 3.5s out of Latvala... wow !
Østberg also fixed the car. EDIT: Or not..
Meeke bend the steering.
Tanak is closing on Sordo, and if Meeke has an issue he can take that position too and be just a place behind Neuville !

Lappi still flying on the limit, but nobody is noticing that Latvala's being smart. Save for his mishap in the previous stage he's been going for consistency, pushing but not too much to maintain a steady gap to Lappi for tomorrow. Smart quick driving from him.
Also, looks to me like Ogier blamed the car for his own mistake.

Sebastien Ogier will delay his decision over whether to rejoin Rally Finland for leg two while co-driver Julien Ingrassia recovers from their Friday morning crash.
The pair's M-Sport Ford Fiesta WRC went off the road near the end of the Jukojarvi and hit a tree on Ingrassia's side.
Both men were taken to hospital for a check-up and were given the all-clear from medics, though Ogier said Ingrassia remains "a bit dizzy".
While the car will be prepared and ready for Saturday's eight stages, it is undecided whether Ogier and Ingrassia will compete.
"The car is OK, we just need to wait a bit," said Ogier.
"Julien got a bit shaken in the crash. We have done all the [hospital] tests and we are OK - there is nothing to come out of the tests at hospital.
"But still, at the moment, he is not feeling super-good, so I want to wait and give him the chance to decide.
"Side impacts are never good and it's on his side so maybe it's a bit worse for him."
Ogier still has a shot at taking five points from Sunday's powerstage if he rejoins.
M-Sport could retire the car from Saturday's leg as well to give Ingrassia more time and then rejoin on Sunday, but the rules require Ogier and Ingrassia taking the car out of parc ferme at 7.20am local time on Saturday morning to officially retire it again.

Interesting sentence by Ogier about clean road
“In some ways I am happy: now he realises what is first on the road. There are not so many people who have seen that.
"For years I have done this job and people like him, who have never done [it] often say: 'Ah, it's not so much, Ogier's complaining too much.'
"But now I see what he does when it's tough and it's nothing really impressive."
ouch
Battle of the egos

Well at least Neuville is a world best road cleaner if you watch Latvalas time after him.
