#TourdeCorse SS9 Antisanti-Poggio di Nazza (53,78 km) ran in exactly same way in 2016 and 2017.
2016 - Meeke 33.11.6
2017 - Neuville 32.34,6

Unfortunately #11 Hänninen went off on SS9 at 48 kms. Crew is ok, but cant continue. #tourdecorse #wrc
Be careful, some pictures being tweeted of @SebOgier working on the Fiesta @TourdeCorseWRC are from yesterday.
Sun 10:13 - Ogier update
The world champion has been working on his Fiesta WRC since he lost a disappointing amount of time in SS9. We still don't know what his problem is. He's back on the move and heading towards the regroup.
OGIER UPDATE: Looks like an intermittent electrical issue. He and Julien continue to liaise with our engineers to try and address the issue.

So they don't even know what exactly to fix. The Fiesta was supposed to be a killer on tarmac but it actually turns out to be their worst rally of the season.

Shame Ogier hit problems yesterday & today however it will make the championship table slightly more interesting. Also if Hyundai can keep out of trouble they will close the gap or at least most of it in the manufacturers title. Hopefully Neuville won't bin it & Craig Breen fingers crossed will come 3rd.

A link for Power Stage?
It's something I find interesting about the modern generation. They've got to the point now where they research and review the stages so much that they can remember them almost corner for corner.
That's something Paddon said in a talk before Finland last year. We see Latvala do it all the time on TV too. I guess having such limited stage miles compared to years passed allows the drivers to do that. It's the reason why Breen only lost 11 seconds yesterday doing the entire stage without an intercom. He said he pretty much knew it anyway.
It's a big reason why experience in the WRC is so valuable. So not only do you have notes but you also remember the stages.
