Playing tactics (if they were) at this stage of the rally is just provocative from VW. Juho´s performance today just mirrors what Hyundai expects just as Dimviii says. Maybe last stage he´ll be allowed to be flat out if he is on 8-12th place in total.Quote:

VW are a good team, Citroen are a good team.
Please just leave it at that.

Ogier is well known for his strange character. He doesn t like to loose even a single stage. Before some days at Monte while he was winner,he said at power stage he didn t pushed because he lost from Latvala for 2 tenths.Latvala is his team mate...
So dont be so sure that today we hadn t got any tactics.
If i was at vw manager position i would do the same. i wouldn t risk ANYTHING with my best driver, and world champion.
Oh, I can easily understand Hyunday's tactics here. They want to finish the Rally for sure, to make decent milleage, that is certain. I just expected Hanninen to be "little" more faster, than Neuville at least, that were the argumets I was writing. He has lot more experience than Neuville with Hyunday, probably also faster on snow, and we also can agree he is very fast driver. I'm not saying there is any consiracy here, just wonder his motivation....Quote:

I think you seriously underestimate Ogier's mentality and right motivation. I must say I'm really surprised that VW would do anything, just to make him happy. Probably even will go furhter and say Capito would support much more Latvala, because he has worked long time with him.... and he needs to much more than Ogier.Quote:

He is 10 seconds behind WRC vice-champion. That's not bad IMO. Plus as Dimitris pointed out they desperately need to collect data. After the Monte disaster they can not afford to have both cars early out like last time. If they are serious they must have ordered their drivers to drive for finish. For speed reference they don't need to push whole rally, some stages or even selected splits are telling too.Quote:

No dramas except for Gröndal during first loop. I a medium right hander he understeerd and were completly off the road with all four wheels. I was convinced that he should be stuck in the ditch but he kept the pedal to the metal and managed to get back on the road. Just loosing maybe five seconds. Impressive :D
Well, it is general forecast for Hagfors. It looks different for stages:Quote:

It looks that there will be enough snow to cause trouble for the first cars on the road.
But it will be very close indeed.. Temperature is just between the border of snow and rain!
Let me exlain you the best I can. Tyres marked for each driver, no driver can use other drivers tyres. Othervise team would enter 3 cars and retire 1 before SS 1 to give the two remaining more fresh tyres.Quote:

It is very hard for a team to make these decisions when the drivers are out on the stages. Mostly these are drivers decisions, they choose what to do with the tyres they have onboard.
Which car is Bjorn Waldegard using? I heard he is zero car...
Bluuford thanks for these brilliant weather forecasts you continually give us. Im sure i speak for the whole forum when i say we really appreciate them. Cheers :)Quote:

WTF? Did I just read that Mirek has been banned? Who on earth came up with that idea? He's the most knowledgably guy in here when it comes to rally, and is always helpful when somebody has a technical question.
Kruuda had broken driveshaft and spin at last stage.
Was banned or is still banned?Quote:
