There's nothing good about it for the championship.
last time when polish rally was in ERC calendar kajetan kajetanowicz in N4 car made the S2000 drivers look funny, so i think my last statement is not unreal... when you consider poor situation in poland regarding roads (it takes too many time to travel to mikolajki), i think many teams will choose not participate in rally poland...
also, in my opinion it is very bad to change the calendar once when the championship has started, but it's something that we witness every year in croatia...
that's not what fiaerc.com crew has in mindQuote:

The important thing that's missing when talking about Super September is that's actually going to end in the middle of October, and there will be four ERC rallies within seven weeks:
09 Barum Czech Rally Zlín, Asphalt, 30 August-1 September
10 Rally Poland, Gravel, 13-15 September
11 Croatia Rally, Asphalt, 26-28 September
12 Rallye Sanremo (Italy), Asphalt, 10-12 October
Which is even more insane :)
Who is pushing for Croatia?Quote:

i will repeat - it's not a good solution to change the calendar once the championship has started, but the thing is - the change in calendar has been made and there is nothing we (disscusing at this forum) can do about it...
I know about it. It is impossible to do all four rallies with one S2000 car...Quote:

Will San Marino stay as first event of the second part of the championship or will that change to last event of part 1?Quote:

ERC has been based on private entries at least for the last 20 years. So it was easy to predict that this year will be the same.
i think the better solution would be to negotiate more manufacturer teams, especially now when the eurosport is ERC promotor ;)Quote:

Any news on possible ERC programmes for Basso and Rossetti. I strongly believe that either of these two could fight for the title with a good enough programme.
Both of them are trying.... ...to find money.
I'm sure the increase of number of ERC rounds from 10 to 13 helps them significantly in the negotiations :/
When was the last season with 10 or less rounds in ERC? I don't remember any serious talks about 10 events for 2013. As I recall that was only a wish of some of us...
Wasn't it last year?Quote:

Anyhow, they only need to compete in eight for a good chance of the title. I don't know how many scores were taken in previous years of ERC?
That doesn't change the point of Jarek. Imagine someone has unlimited budget. He can drive 13 events flat out and 5x crash and still win the title (see case of Mikkelsen in IRC). More events doesn't make the championship better.
Thanks Mirek! That is exactly what I wanted to say. I don't know why we are the only people on the forum who understand it.Quote:

I think the European economy in general is having a far bigger effect on that.Quote:
