There is a difference between using Photoshop to enhance an already existing colour in the image, and placing a colour that has no resemblance to the lighting conditions at all. In my opinion rally photography is journalistic photography and therefore shouldn't be manipulated (not to be mixed with edited). I have no problems with people using Photoshop to art their images up for fun, it's just that such images cannot be published in the media.
It exists 3 cars nowadays ... Ford (Qatar) has 4 official drivers (Novikov, Neuville, Ostberg, Al Attiyah) and it seems that Hanninen is included in the team. Citroën has 4 too (Sordo, Loeb, Hirvonen, Al Qassimi) and VW 3 (Latvala, Ogier, Mikkelsen). It's only a question of name ... but the cars are here.Quote:

Also, there will be less crimes committed like Galli, P.Solberg, Atkinson and the like being out of drives.Quote:

2003 Result (10 years ago) - I'm so fond of this season I still remember the results off the top of my head. I just wanted to revisit briefly.
1.Sebastien Loeb (Citroen Xsara)
2.Colin Mcrae (Citroen Xsara) +45s
3.Carlos Sainz (Citroen Xsara)
4.Markko Martin (Ford Focus)
5.Richard Burns (Peugeot 206)
6.Cedric Robert (Peugeot 206 - Private) - what on earth happened to him?!! I remember Corrado Provera promising him a full season based on this result.
7.Francois Duval (Ford Focus) +0.2 behind Robert!
8.Armin Schwarz (Hyundai Accent) - YAY!
9.Didier Auriol (Skoda Octavia) - YAYx2 - was huge fan of the Octavia (Monte and Safari 2001 with Schwarz baby)
10.Roman Kresta (Peugeot 206) - big fan of Roman
11.Antony Warmbold (Ford Focus) - Hi Antony! :)
12.Olivier Burri (Toyota Corolla)
13.Marcus Gronholm (Peugeot 206) - you were scary fast but binned it.
Others who retired
Mikko Hirvonen (Ford)
Gilles Panizzi (Peugeot)
Harri Rovanpera (Peugeot) - ok I know he didn't do this one, but I wanted to include him as he was a top driver round this time.
Tommi Makinen (Subaru)
Petter Solberg (Subaru) - well done for BOTH retiring on SS5 guys!
Freddy Loix (Hyundai) - hope you enjoyed the ride downhill - Looked like fun to me.
Toni Gardemeister (Skoda) - Never got going...
That doesn't include the JWRC which had Brice Tirabassi (Renault), Daniel Carlsson and Urmo Aava (Suzuki), Guy Wilks (Ford), Kris Meeke (Opel - man he was FAST in that car!), Mirco Baldacci and Marcos Ligato (Fiat). Kosti Katajamaki also came 2nd in a VOLKSWAGEN POLO, but was DSQ'd on a technicality (hmmm wonder if that's a portent of something to come on Sunday...)
WOW just look at all those names and cars!! This has stirred me much more than anything this year! I'm not trying to be mean or negative but this is how I feel. I hope the FIA are taking things seriously about fixing the mess which I mostly blame them for really.
Over and out.
About Gilbert, Rémi Tutelaire, is former codriver, wrote this on facebook :
"Comme a déjà pu le dire un certain Sébastien, dans la vie il y a une justice... Après m'avoir fait passer pour un immature et un frein à son ascension, aujourd'hui je ris bien au nez des gens qui ont tout mis en œuvre pour m'évincer! A bon entendeur"
As previously said a definite Sébastien, there's a justice in life ... After have me passed as unripe and a brake for his ascent, today I'm laughing in people faces who implements all to squeeze me ! A word to the wise is enough.
another info : he was shown at 180km/h. Don't know if it was on highway or not.
Few minutes ago in MTV3 MAX preview program they had onboard footage from WRC cars in shakedown. At least Hänninen, Sordo, Ogier, Latvala etc. so I assume they have onboard cameras in every P1 car.Quote:

I guess the wet parts will freeze in the night, no?Quote:

You must have this sticker on the car, if you have studded tyres. And if there are no studded tyres, you should cross the sticker...Quote:
