We saw David Lapworth yesterday and we had a little chat. i said hi and he said hi back. This is how you get valuable inside information of rallying :D
Tanak in a WRC car next year?
why Mikko start in 10 before Henning?
7 minutes until stage is go! Jari-Mati should be on it
Nice vid from the jumps at shakedown:

Let's day begin :)
Morning - it seems JML is going for a win, at least judging from the 1st split...
But changes his mind on split 2
Could the splits be any closer for the top 3. Well, the last sections of the stage should make some difference.
It's to early talk about victory at friday morning :D
It's never too early to talk about victory.Quote:

But still not factory Citroen slower than factory Ford, will see what Mikko can do.
A lot, it seems, judging from split 3: -3,1sQuote:

He was 10 secs faster over 20 kilometers = 0,5 secs per km. There is approx 260 km's to go, which means if he can keep up that speed, theoretically he could take lead. Theoretically.
I think angry Mikko can do more then road position can. So wait to other SS win from him.
If Mikko can do this times only after disappointment at prev. day - it's shame.
Here in service park weather is fine. Sun is shining.Quote:

I see that Ford engineers have done some "fine tuning" to Ketomaa's car.
Now the 2nd Finnish Mini is off the road as well.
WWR said it's been raining on the southern stages overnight
Brynildsen off as well in Hassi
Thanks Harrik !
Paddon took some good time there!
our young kiwi is on a charge now!!
Anyone know what happened to Nikara?
Looks like Saluk join "off-roaders" group on SS4 :(
Hassi proving to be as damned as it was thought to be beforehand.
Well I'm fascinated by this event, still too early to call but if JML is within 30 - 50 secs at the end of today then tomorrow will be electric, not to mention 'can Mikko keep this speed up?'
Like the 'tuning' of Ketoma's fiesta comment above ;) That's one position back that Mikko won't have to worry about.
Ott (Is that a name or an acronym for his driving style?) Tanak showing exceptional pace in the Fiesta but Juho fighting back -that's going to be one hell of a fight - Expect a major scruit-strip of the Fiesta if OT wins :) (which I don't think he will, as Juho should have the 'experience' edge)
And Paddon has hit the ground running this morning so that's both my predictions for a WRC drive doing well so far (although I've got Ketomaki as my fantasy rally selection and he's moving up now).
"I went off and turn upside down. But no damage on the car. We had to wait for spectators."Quote:
