You must be kidding. About 25 would be enough for me although I like the sauna with 80-100.Quote:

Just watched the video from leg 1, have to say looks really spectacular with some of the roads above the cliffs, incredible drops! But also very narrow roads, now even more disappointed that I couldn't make it but will have to see after watching the rain from today :p : Definitely towards the top of the list for visiting next year :)
That is a good idea Jamie, we are just back in appartment after another great day of action. Of course the heavy rain this morning was not so nice, but hey i am not complaining. Great rally and pace by Meeke, alltough he had some lucky escapes also, but that is rallying. Also good pace by Kopecky and i think Vouiiloz was thinking about the points today. Loix did not so bad but as he told me himself with too much up and downs.Quote:

Is not confirmed but the problem might be a spin that he made and after that he couldn't put the car on right direction due a lack of rear gear...Quote:

They are all fantastic, thanks WRC1!!!!!!!!
I hope all of you have enjoyed the rallye and the stay. Unfortunately I only met Pluto. I was with him several times and we dinner together with some friends. Well...I got to dinner he only drank a coke. :D
I was also with JAM in the press room.
Next year I hope to met the rest of the guys. I apologize for not having found all of you.
I enjoyed the rallye. The problems with the public, delays and the stages canceled were boring but in the end I think the balance was quite good.
The weather was bad on Saturday but many times is like this in the Azores. Long time ago no rain around.
The pictures taken from the heli over Sete Cidades stage impressed even the Azoreans. I was absoluty amazed.
Let´s hope next year we can be again in IRC even with a better rallye.
I would think and hope that Azores will be in IRC next year. It seemed to get a very good verdict from the drivers, teams and fans. Made a very nice change from the endless grey WRC events!
Yes it's clear the IRC wants events with character, and it looks like the event had plenty of that. Stunning scenery and difficuly, narrow twisty stages, can't beat it :)
I admit I don't like gravel but I enjoyed watching IRC Acores,it has beautiful scenery and it is nothing like the non-stop-always the same gravel in WRC ;)
I think that the whole caravan of the IRC showed his satisfaction about the event except Marc Van Dalen. He made little praises about the organization and he don´t understand why two portuguese rallyes on the calendar. The azorean press did not like so much the tone of his criticism. I think the problem for the Kronos boss is the wrong PUG winning all the events this years so far. :D
Superb Rally Art Photos!Thanx!Quote:
