Yeah, I am. I was in the process of calculating the results when the protest went down.

Mercedes protests are denied but I think they might appeal. I will await these decisions before calculating our final GP and standings.

Your package reached Chicago yesterday morning , so you may get it today .

I want to mention before anybody asks , that the neither the FIA nor Michael Masi was involved at all in any of the decision making process that went into either the creation or awarding of this particular title .

And , no animals were un-necessarily tortured during the making of the actual medal as far as I recall .

Ceremonially speaking , it would be most proper to have someone else open the package and pin your medal on you .
They could also help you drink the champagne , which I assume you've already procured .



All fun aside , I'm hoping you and yours made it through the big winds that went through the other night .
It was hairy enough around here , but much worse down all the way to Kentucky .

Thankfully that stuff pass all of us to the south. It does suck for the people in the path though. We got hit with a tornado in June of this year and there are still houses that have not been fixed for living.

I was just going to take a picture with it and post that. I didn't think there was going to be a ceremony. Do you think Kimi is free to attend?

Thanks for bringing this issue to like Bagwan, and providing a medal this time, as well as the trophys from past years.

I'm glad you have tolerated the work involved N. Jones, and if I'm ever in your area or we cross paths elsewhere, a meal and some drinks are surely in the picture.

Maybe you will hear crying if the race appeal makes the FGP fall to a different winner. We could start a fundraiser for the legal fees if it comes to that.
