Francois Delecour will drive Peugeot from Munaretto.
Why is this? I thought he had an agreement with Kronos.Quote:

You cannot find any salt on the stages held on the gravel roads :-) I followed the road temperature and air temperature for the whole day and it did not reach to + side on the day 1 stages. It is -1.6 degrees at the moment on the road surface (There is one road meteo station very close to SS1) and very light snow is expected overnight. Air temperature is just around zero. On such roads with a few + degrees and some rain the ice layer takes a lot of time to dissapear and often gets even thicker, especially when the ground is properly frozen.Quote:

So, the snow leaves, maybe very thin layer arrives on Firday morning and most of the rally should be held in minus degrees, on the ice and frozen gravel and little snow in the forest and on the bigger snow-piles.
I will buy one beer in Rally Estonia for the competitor who retires because of getting stuck in the snow ;-)

Kronos didn't have a car available for the rally as it wasn't on the original schedule of Delecour. Jean-Pierre Nicolas helped him to find a solution with the Munaretto team. For the time being, Nicolas knows that the Frenchman is the highest attraction of the Championship.Quote:

Bluuford is correct, today +3 and rain from 11 AM. Snow is leaving - and it is not because of salt on the road, snow is leaving everywhere, also on the fields. I dont expect any snow on stages, but we will see this evening when crews will return from recce.
