Btcc Tv 2007

I've now seen all 3 varieties of the BTCC coverage from Rockingham. Was fortunate to be able to see some of the Setanta coverage at the track yesterday while the races were on and it was very slick, so much better than Motors TV's version. Plenty of interviews with not just the podium drivers. I don't know who the presenter was, but he was very witty, especially when he said to Fiona Leggate (at the back of the grid for race 3), something along the lines of "be careful, you can catch all sorts back here". :rotflmao:

The 1.25am show on ITV1 was very poor again. Just so rushed and didn't explain very much. Now finished watching the recording of the ITV3 show and it was quite good. A few mistakes from Lenny Kravitz at times, but it was well put together and plenty of interviews. :up:

There's a fourth version too: Setanta highlights show tomorrow night at 6pm.

After originally deciding I wasn't going to pay for the Setanta channels, I changed my mind. I cancelled a few other things I was paying for and used what I'd saved to subscribe.

I have to agree with Iain that the raceday coverage was very good and presented very well too. There aren't going to be too many rounds that I can get to this year, so now I won't be missing out :D .

Yes, I didn't think it was bad, though Louise Goodman (albeit far better than Vicki B-H) and Ted Kravitz for that matter will never be truly top-notch sports presenters, a la Steve Rider.

It was awkward when Ted interviewed Nigel Pinkney and wasn't sure quite what you say to a driver whose grid-girls are also his daughters. "Erm...well, they erm...yeah they look nice. Ok bye."

You're not alone in getting names muddled up BBB - Ted Kravitz went to interview John George and asked his driver coach Phil Bennett (who he referred to as Phil Spencer) to move out of the way so he could talk to him.
