Anyway, Gianfranco Cunico is back in the Italian championship! He will drive Mitsubishi Evo IX on Rally Adriatico. Does anybody remember this classic driver? He is 51 now, but I'd bet he will be faster than many young guns ;)

According to news on Rallylink, Mr.Cunico will change his program in 2009: he will drive Focus WRC 07 in Italian IRC cup !!!!
Obviously he got some more mony out of his sponsors budget !! Looking good for this year IRC in Italy-Pucco Grossi already with Subaru Impreza S12b, now Cunico, it is going to be interesting.....
