the proton guys sound pretty optimistic about the engine. but what i just dont understand is, what do they want with mcrae? i mean...nothing against him, but wouldnt there be much better options?
i´m defenetly exited on what pg will do, he was good at monte and also pretty good at this finnskog rallye. i hope he can battle with mikkelsen ;)
McRae does have a LOT of experience. And has a lot of connections in Australasia (he lives in Oz now), so is probably a good option for a manufacturer based down there. Plus I don't imagine they have to pay him a huge amount as he isn't as famous/sort after as someone like Ogier or Sordo?Quote:
