I've got all 4 of the Oxford Vectras too. Added the Dunlop tyre markings which improves them a lot, how did you change the ride height PDS?
Motorbase are giving away models to their sponsors. I know this as when I went to see Steven Kane at Silverstone Rob Collard told me he was still in the motorhome painting the wheels of the models as they had come with silver not gold wheels!!
Glad someone had used my idea and my advice worked :)Quote:

Easliy done. Took me about 20 minutes... Take the model apart. Gently remove one wheel from each axle. Then take a round needle file, lengthen the hole that the axle goes through!
You can't go too far as the wheel will hit the top of the inner arch! Make sure you go dont go ofline with the file!
Not BTCC but these are nice

did anyone else see the VX Racing models for sale on their stand at Brands Hatch? There was 07 and 08 models at £9.95 each. Dont think theyll be that price now but does anyone have a link to buy online?
Might be worth reading back through this thread for your information.
lol thanks!
If you subscribe to MN you get a signed Turkington and Jelley hat as well as the 2007 Team RAC BMW 1:43 model. In this weeks MN
Is there a promo code for the offer or a phone number? Have looked everywhere and can't find MN anywhere! :(Quote:

Im sorry I have been away on my hols. Im sorry I didnt get the Promo code to you guys
I've just added a fantastic model to my collection, a 1988 Minshaw/Ratzenberger BMW M3 E30.
The guy had put on ebay a 1/18 scale version of the car (which sold quite quickly) so I asked if he could reproduce the decals in 1/43 which he agreed to try. He made the below model (the one I bought from him).

I've also noticed he has now listed another 1/43 on ebay.
My collection has grown a little since I last listed it and I can be bothered to re-type them all!
I have posted a the link below if anyone is intererested, you may even be able to help me fill in some of the gaps with the description!

This list doesn't include all the unmade model kits I have and decal sheets!
The Scalextric Team RAC car of 2007 is now available and there are pictures on the website if anyone's interested:

My order has been placed :D
Excellent collection KILOMUHNS. :) A good reference point for us to see what models are out there. I remember the scale model Cleland helmets from when they came out, £75 according to a magazine I looked at earlier.
I must admit that recently my collecting has slowed right down, the only recent ish additions have been a Vauxhall Vectra of Giovanardi, 2008. A very nice and so far my only M3 of Erik Bristow from the BTCC, cant recall the year now though, 1990 ish, its a labbats car. And instead of converting a rally based sierra Sapphire to the 1992 Rob Gravett car he raced that season, i bought a ready made motor pro one from ebay, so i now have a spare set of decalls for said car if anyone else is interested.
I wont be converting my intended model, i shall keep it in the rally trim, as i now have a decent collection of Sierra models.
Thanks. And still too many more to get!! I still haven't got all the ONYX or Minichamps models yet. Trying to spend some of my time making the kits I have picked up over the years, currently making a 1992 BMW coupe (either Menu or Nissen) and a Renault 19 (having trouble as it came without a rollcage and the shell is damaged - didn't pay much though!).Quote:

Ebay would be a good place to look, i have seen a few on their in the past, however not a model that i have ever bought, or wished to own myself.
I have a 1999 ONYX Blair Vectra and a 2007 OXFORD Giovanardi Vectra both in 1:43. Pics to come later if I remember
I was wondering if anyone knew if the Vauxhall Vectras of Cleland and Muller were commercial or just plain not made? Are there any onyx models of these cars anywhere?
The 1999 cars were planned to be made.. but were never produced by Onyx!
This is a useful list!

£70???? It surprises me how much people will pay for models?

Whereas this seems a bargain!

wow! definately one extreme to another!
This thread is normally for the BTCC, but I just wanted to say Kyosho has recently released 1/43 versions of the JTCC Toyota Chasers. They're still ST so it's definitely nice to add one to your collection. I hope Kyosho produces more ST cars like the Civics/Accords/Familias/Sunny/Imprezas.
Can anyone help me?
A couple of weeks ago I found a website that had thousands of line drawings of motor cars! I forgot to add it to my favourites list.
It has drawings from the plain road going cars to some race cars...
I am sure it was a link on Wikipedia?
Can anyone help please?
have you deleted your interest history (e.g. you dont want your wife to find your porn.... :) )Quote:

As you felt the need to drag this thread back. I thought I would take the opportunity to link to pictures of most of my models.
All 1/43rd. I still have some more to photograph!

I like the Skaife V8 Holden 08 car
Is this a diecast and where can I get it
Biante produced models I get direct from them.
For cars made by Classic Carlectables I usually do a search on the Australian E-bay.
Although many only list posting to Oz, no one yet has told me they won't post to the UK!

$49 is about £23! For that you get a fully detailed model inside and out, even underneath with steering, suspension and exhaust system.
Just imagine what the 1/18 models are like.. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Classic-1-18-...1%7C240%3A1318
