Ott is pushing
its quite loose here, isnt it?
Morning.
No chance for Ott
Why this stage. Only full speed straits... Bah.
132,5 km/h average speeds for Taka:eek:
Tanak dropping time..?
tanak slower than katsuta..
Kalle is flying in there
Katsuta faster than Tanak.. no points coming for Tanak with that pace
I keep hoping its not the case, but it seems that Tanak lost his mojo
Huge difference how Kalle was behind the wheel and Tänak. Tänak worked like crazy while Kalle was so smooth
tanak was so quick compared to neuville
Must be the Huyndai. Also Therry losing time.
Neuville complaining about the car not wanting to turn in
Hyundai must have done something really wrong overnight or it’s just Toyota stage. Huge differences
Neuville and Tänak saying the same things. Oversteer and understeer
Hyundai should have gone to Arctic rally.. all cars total failure today.
These questions about driving for overall position feels funny. Like who cares
And Evans into second in overall
Hyundai not so many points today..
The stupid part of the new rules comming to action.
Evans might even get first overall time today and then he will stand on top of podium while Lappi will get points for first place for Saturday.
There shouldn't be Saturday points. Those 18-15-13 etc. should be awarded for overall at the end of the rally.
Very mature rally for Oliver, dominating Rally 2 without taking extreme risks
It wouldnt be difficult to explain. Those retired on friday and saturday can already win a sizable amount of points. This would be more consistent. I the end you take a guy with most points and declare him the winner.
But I would still prefer points for overall win and extra points for sunday stage wins
I think for Lappi personally, when it comes to getting a contract renewal and maybe some additional drives the following year, "winner of Rally Finland" will count.
The Saturday/Sunday WDC points don't matter to Lappi.
Are his Sunday WCC points important to Hyundai, since Tanak/Neuville both restarted and he goes back to being their third driver?
I wonder how after 3 days Ott didnt find the balance?

Are his Sunday times important to Hyundai's WCC points, since Tanak/Neuville both reset and he goes back to being their third driver?
now points are just different and we have to get used to it..
The real question is "will it stop people cruising to the power stage, who would have done so under the old rules?"
This event will teach us a thing or two about the psychological impact of the new points system.
Kalle has all to gain for the team and can adopt a win-or- nothing approach. Hyundai drivers are treading a thin line between drivers points and manufacturer benefit
i am wondering how Hyundai will choose the drivers for the next Rallyes, if they have to choose between a Rally Sweden Winner and a guy who is fighting against Rally2 Cars...
