Something had to give in this battle. Shame.
Sometimes it seems that people keep forgetting that to have 3 or 4 guys in a few seconds, you need all of them to be going at their maximum. And having a six second gap is nothing you can really control, when the top 4 are going at it.

All of the drivers here are professional including several WRC2 ones...
Much of this season Veiby has been fastest of all the RC2 entries. I don't think he is as fast a driver as Kalle or Mads. So I'm guessing it may be the car that is substantially quicker.Quote:

All the other teams have either engine, aero or chassis improvements and its showing.
Only Ostberg (Sweden) and Greensmith (Monte Carlo) managed to finish ahead of Rovanperä through the all events started this year (and Pieniazek if we count Rovanperä's accident in Corsica). Otherwise he won all events. That's what counts and the car reliability is a big part of the game. Kopecký was second behind Rovanperä in both outings he did and now Loubet is safely second behind Rovanperä in his first outing with the Fabia Evo. I really don't see any reason for complains.Quote:

Well the new Fiesta is indeed worrying, afaik running R5 is one of the main incomes for MSport (certainly on the rally part). Less income, less likely they will be competitive and afford good drivers on WRC level.
